VOLUNTEER DISASTER
RESPONSE
Transforming Communities through FREE emergency tree care
Our Focus
RESPOND
Real time storm response and route clearance capabilities. Sirens Project's rapid response team works in tandem with first responders, law enforcement, and emergency management aiding in gaining access to impacted communities as the disaster unfolds.
RELIEVE
Hazardous tree care in post disaster environments. Through the knowledge of Certified Arborists and trained sawyer teams, we play a crucial role in restoring the safety of families after disasters by identifying and removing dangerous trees.
RESTORE
Revitalization of communities and ecosystems. We not only remove trees that pose an immediate danger but also preserve the existing environment by implementing proper pruning practices to maintain surviving, vigorous trees and undertaking replanting initiatives.
LOCAL OUTREACH
NORTH GEORGIA SEVERE WEATHER
Sirens Project is responding in our local community after a series of severe thunderstorms caused straight line wind damage across much of North Georgia.
So far we have assisted 9 families, through more than 100 volunteer hours, in removing hazardous trees. We will continue to work with ministry partners and local authorities with identifying families still in need.
RECENT PROJECTS
HURRICANE HELENE
RESPONSE UPDATE
Sirens Project has just completed the fifth of numerous planned deployments to communities affected by Hurricane Helene. Route clearance and hazardous tree removal operations were conducted in Metro Atlanta as well as the communities of Adel, Nashville, Valdosta, and Douglas, Georgia. As well as the communities of Saluda and Newberry, South Carolina. Sirens Project was also able to assist in the delivery of a dozen generators that are being used to power family homes and community centers with critical needs and life saving medical equipment.
We recently led a group of high school students from North Cobb Christian School to Ray City, GA to continue cleanup efforts more than 4 months after Helene made landfall. We will continue to serve these wonderful communities in need.
