PROJECT: LINN COUNTY
The Marion, IA Derecho Response was an amazing display of unity between multiple establishments.
Sirens Project teamed up with Officer Shane Bonebrake of the Woodstock Police Department, His Hands Church, Reach Out Worldwide, and WaterStep to assist several communities impacted by the historic Iowa derecho.
All together two 26′ trucks of food were delivered, three homes were cleared of debris, two assisted living homes given power and bleach makers, and hundreds of lives impacted.
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the people of Iowa as they continue to rebuild.
